    ..nice piece of kit..

..this piece is not my creation, but I had one of these back in the day, same metallic blue as well. My buddies and I would drive out to this farmers 'burning pit' thrashing on our RC creations, much to the dismay of our girlfriends of the time, who would be sitting there, watching, bored out of their minds..;)

Not my video, but in 1982 I had one of these... They flat out tore it up!

    SWEET!!!

I had the body kit for that! as well as the racing buggy one (with the tyre kits too) the were all interchangeable between the one chassis. Best money per pure fun that I ever spent!

..this was the color livery that I painted VW that I had..

I bought the re-releases from a few years ago (still hoping they do the F150 again), with 2 extra body kits each, don't know why, it is still sitting on the shelf, built not painted..

Those things were so much fun, I then built a DW Budweiser Monte SS from an old "Hornet" chassis and put a high performance motor on it and really flew up and down the road with it...I gave 3 boxes of RC stuff away a couple of years ago to my brother that included the "Hornet", a "Mitsubishi Pajero" and a "The Frog" I recently bought a Drone so we will see how that works out LOL

Only kit I ever owned was one of the electric Tamiya DTM kits. I buffed it up with carbon fiber/frp parts, better shocks and still couldn't beat the offroad RC car my little brother owned. Nowadays I mainly blame that on tire diameter vs torque and the bigger offroad tires just worked better on that chassis

Would love to build a late model modified with 4 link rear, functional ladder bar and 5th coil etc, but that would be yet another insane project for whic I neither have time nor money. Maybe, wen my daughter grows older and develops an interest (hey, a man van dream, right?) for cars, I can realise that one.
