So with everybody selling on eBay and having storefronts, how does one become a dealer to get wholesale prices to be able to sell to the public?

    Thanks

I'd also recommend doing a lot of research before you jump in with the investment. It's a unique business model that is constantly changing, making it difficult to establish a foundation to work off of. Not at all trying to discourage you, just suggesting you talk to people at all levels with the business and take the time to formulate a game plan should you decide to move on.

100% absolutely you need a LOCAL retail market. The internet is full. With myself, Lionel and everyone with a keyboard selling it is very difficult to do anything on the internet. Unfortunately for myself I had to begin selling retail online when dealers started dropping preorders and moving to other distributors every time I didnt give in to their every demand.. Plus when there is a 1 of 36 car produced and 2 dealers order one we know there is a problem in the dealer side of things. There is zero loyalty in this hobby, a customer will drop you in heartbeat for 50 cents a car. The only way you can get a grasp on things is to have a local market you sell to, and offer the service of being able to pick it up and look at it before buying. That is the one thing the online guys can never compete with.
