WWE has announced that they have signed a deal with WGN-America to produce a weekly 1 hr. TV Program. The show will be titled WWE Superstars. Long time fans should remember the weekly show by the same name in the 1980s that aired in cable syndication. WWF Superstars featured interviews and matches, all squashes, with each show usually having one main angle to start or continue a feud. There is no word yet as to what the format will be for the show. This may be a good thing if WWE uses this opportunity wisely to help some younger guys get their characters over and get extra work in.

Used to always tape Superstars so I could watch it later. Came on at some crazy times though, like 6 in the morning at one point!
