In a somewhat suprising move, WWE has released Trevor Murdoch. He was recently drafted from RAW to Smackdown because the RAW writing team "couldn't come up with anything for him" and Michael Hayes who oversees the writing for Smackdown had an idea for him. This is a shame as Murdoch seemed to be onto something with his "Karaoke Cowboy" gimmick before he and Lance Cade split up. He could have been a solid mid-card guy.
