I find the lack of hologram and upc disturbing given that the cars are also clearly both 2009's.

I'll stay away from these but thanks for the info :)

the box does say mark martin and it is 2010 packaging.... so that would mean there would have to be a 2010 martin out there... interesting...

This is no different than the 1/64th 2009 WC cars in the new 2010 packaging or the 1/64th haulers being 2009's in the 2010 packaging. Just because the package says 2010 does not mean the item inside is the 2010 version.

Some punk probably took the 2010 car out and put the 2009 car in package, I`ve seen that done plenty of times with the old 1/64 package-someone would cut the side open and replace the car with another and return it to the store, have seen a Bobby Labonte #18 in a Kyle Busch package...

Such a thing would be trivially easy to do in 1:87. Looking at the underside of the car where they stamp the manufacture date is the only way I can think of to tell for sure.

Again, lack of upc and hologram make me wonder if someone who has seen the 2010 packaging didn't zip a few off the printer... or just make up their own 2010 packages...
