Default Question

how hard was it to get the #44 Reutimann model?

A friend of mine from out of state had found one last year and sent it to me recently. I had no such luck of ever finding this model. Was it really that limited? I ask just due to store supply (at the time it was out) and how little i have seen it on Ebay.

Which scale? The 1/64 was pretty common in my area, and there are still 2 1/24ths at one of my local Walmarts.

1/64th....i never really like the 1/24ths by them. Although good in price i just felt the missing detail and HoTo features were a turn off.

I had checked for the longest time....way before i knew about this website and brought it up elsewhere and some1 came through in the clutch....but for him it was the same thing he had found 2 at WalMarts very many miles apart. I must have checked over 30 different stores before he finally sent me the extra one he found.

The 1/24s are extremely easy to find on eBay - that's about 90% of the items that come up in a Reutimann search in Diecasts. I see 1/64s on there somewhat regularly, not too often, but enough that it's not impossible.
