2009 Football Cards Are Here !!!

There is a video on Beckett's website showing some of their employees busting a box of 2009 Sage Hit Football Low Series with the guy from Sage that designed the product. Remarkably, they didn't pull some rare 1/1 case hit as they usually do when a company supplies them with a box to open. These cards look much better than in years past. The design is better, the photography is better, and the autograph stickers don't overwhelm the actual signature. The only goofy looking gimmickry to me is the silver and gold parallels. Instead of using foil they went with glitter style borders. Other than that this looks to be a solid product for college football fans. 30 packs per box with 6 autographs per box. Available next week. Below is the players in the low series. The players expected to be the top sellers are in red. The high series with 50 new players comes out in late April-early May.

Thanks for the info. I'll need to get the Laurinaitis, Jenkins, Nate Davis, and Meredith. This year is going to be stressful trying to collect all the Ohio State Alumni going into the draft, not to mention all the Browns rookies, which they will have quite a few draft picks. I might have to limit the Davis and Meredith collection to cards of them in college uniforms...

I'm sure he will make an appearance in the high series along with Graham Harrell, Matthew Stafford, Knowshawn Moreno, Percy Harvin, and several other big names.

2009 Press Pass has been out for a week or so. Very clean design with on card autographs! If you are a college fan check it out. Lots of cool autograph inscriptions and nicknames as well. If anyone gets any Percy Harvin or Louis Murphy autos let me know!

I'm gonna hold off for a couple more weeks and let the price come down a little. UD Draft Edition and Bowman Draft will be out in early May. I plan on stocking all 5 new products then!
