2009 Donruss Threads Football - RETAIL

I just thought I would give everyone a heads up on the 2009 Donruss Threads Football Retail boxes and packs. The Retail version of this product contains a short-printed Brett Favre card picturing the legendary QB in his new Minnesota Vikings uniform. These cards are not easy to pull, but they are selling well on eBay right now. Favre will also have cards with the Vikings in the Topps Finest, Upper Deck SPx, Donruss Certified, Donruss Limited, and Donruss Gridiron Gear products that will all be releasing in the coming weeks. This card in Threads though, is his first Vikings card and was produced in limited quantities so it will always be desirable. If you find any '09 Threads retail packs or blaster boxes at local retail outlets, it would be worth your time to pick them up. I was told that alocal Dollar Tree store here had them at $1 per pack last week!

Looks like the SPx have hit the market also with 2 versions of a Favre Vikings card. Based on early sales the card picturing him holding his jersey is the rarer of the two.

Thanks for the info Dodger! My wife said she saw some cards at Dollar Tree but didn't say what they were...I guess I'll have to take a look myself.
