Howdy Rc,
With the recent trend of new members,
is there a way to add a 'howdy', 'welcome' here button

There are times that I would like to say 'howdy' but just don't have much other than that to say. sort of like the thanks button.

I'll see what I can find. For now I have been thanking the new members who make it a point to introduce themselves because I really do appreciate it.

There were two modifications available that work as a thanks button and they were thanks and groan. I'm using both but I've modified the groan modification to work as the "I'm In" Enter button part of the Action Packaed Giveaways. I can always change that to the welcome section and change the image and phrases to "Howdy" but then we go back to posting "I'm In" in the giveaway topics. I'll check to see if there is a 3rd modification that works the same way as the other two and if not then I'll consider just swapping the Enter feature of the giveaways to a Howdy feature in the welcome section.

Personally I like you having the Enter button over a howdy button. We can just thank the new members and have it mean the same thing. It keeps the "I'm Ins" from showing in the unread posts all the time.
