[Resolved] Audio alert

Is there a way where it can be set up to alert us via an audio tone when we have a PM, or even when if we are in the chat box and start to surf the Forum and we get a reply in the Chat Box? Just curious. The PM alert tone would be ideal.

There is, but the problem is that it keeps repeating.

Sure it is, it just doesn't pop up until we click on another link, so if we are typing or something else, it would let us know. It's probably a dumb request, it just popped into my head and I asked before I really thought it out.
Allot of times, I will minimize the forum, and then open another window, so if there was an alert tone, kinda like Outlook Express does, then I would know to re-open the forum and check.

well every link you click other than the notification notice will activate the audio alert. It's active right now. I want others to chime in on whether this is needed or not. I saw alot of complaints of it being more of a nuisance than helpful in the hack thread. Figured I'd give it a try though.

Might not work on Firefox.

I just got a message and the audio alert didn't play until I was reading it. I'm going to remove the setting.

Yeah I think a repeating audio alert would be a little much. I'm just waiting on the hack that enables me to have endless drinks and food so I don't even have to leave the computer while I watch ESPN! Hahahahaha

It didn't work for me either, unless you had already removed it. It's no big deal, as I said, it was just a passing thought. I wouldn't want any irritants on here, ya know what I mean?;) Thanks anyways for checking it out.
