There are so stinking many now it's hard to keep up with them all. They are getting as bad as Hot Wheels.

i started to say the same thing as geebs. having collected both. i once had over 100 star wars figures. it seemed they are like hot wheels are now. they keep making the same figure/car over and over and just paint it different or something. hot wheels is the same.

Earle, the chase figures are very dissapointing. They are the regular figures, just with chrome foil printing on the cards. I saw one recently (on the secondary market) that was from last year, the figure was the exact same, but instead of gray Star Wars logo had gold chrome, there was a gold chrome stripe around the outside of the package, and the coin was gold instead of silver.

The newest thing they are doing is "First Day of Issue" which started with the Clone Wars/current style packaging which is simply blue foil logo and a flimsy sticker on the plastic bubble. I've gotten a couple but I am not going nuts over them or even getting them specifically, I am just getting them if it's the first time I see that figure.
