snowbound. well here, that's what we say when it snowed so much we couldn't get out to go anywhere. so we had 7 inches, ok, it's fine to laugh! but that is alot for the eastern shore of maryland. some places hit 13 inches deep, as little as 7 miles from us. depended on what bands of snow went over you.. we couldn't get out our driveway as it's on a hill, and the road was a sheet of ice and snow. see it rained, the rain froze as it changed to snow. so we had 7 inches of snow on top of about a 1/2 inch of ice. it hasn't been above freezing here since sunday about 7 in the evening. it's now wednesday noon and up to 25. we hit 1 last night. are finally out thanks to the high march sun..we'd needed a pick ax to chop the ice otherwise. that's how we use the term snowbound here. basically the entire town shutdown monday, it's that bad. thanks for the info. on the car. i'll have to watch and see if any sell to get a value. | | ||

2 inchs isnt bad its a dusting in new england and peoiple no how to drive in snow here but i cant forget that the south doesnt get much if any
