World Of Outlaws Champion Donny Schatz completed an unprecedented hat trick of wins in the Titan Garages Australian Sprintcar Open with victory in tonight's $20,000 to win, fifty lap Feature event at Archerfield. Schatz led every lap of the race to score his third win in the event in as many years, holding out a determined Brooke Tatnell through two yellow light stoppages over the final ten laps for the win. Six time and reigning Australian Champion Garry Brazier qualified for the Final via the B-Main and raced from position fourteen to third, putting in the drive of the night in front of a huge and appreciative crowd at the raceway. Cameron Gessner, who started on the front row of the Final with Schatz, was the first Qld driver home in seventh place. |  | ||
