Tutorial: User Gallery

Every member has the option to create picture albums. Each album is currently limited to 60 pictures and 600 x 600 in size. If you need more options for picture sizes or storage please contact me and I will change the settings for you.

The option for the albums is in your 'User CP' under the 'Networking' category named 'Pictures and Albums' and also under the 'Quick Links' option in the top navigation bar.

If you set your pictures to have public access then anyone can view them on the Album page found under 'Quick Links' by clicking 'All Albums' in the top navigation bar.

Your pics can also be viewed by members on the homepage in the random picture block.

AND, if anyone has any run off from filling their albums and wants to add more pictures, I would be happy to host them on my Fotki account. (see my signature). I have truly unlimited space and I already have a section set up for hosting other people's photos besides my own.

Just a note, you may get an error when deleting album pics but they will have been deleted regardless when you go back to your album.

A tip for users of the gallery. There are image links below each pic to display them here on the forums in a post. Unlike some image hosts you may use that can be down from time to time...if the forum is up and you've linked to pics here they will always show up!

Album settings have been upgraded to 100 pics per album. Members are allowed to upload up to 200 pictures total in multiple albums. If you need more space just let me know.

Album picture limits have been increased from 800x800 to 1000x1000.
