Gotta blame NASCAR. They're responsible for this to happen. If they didn't have the retarded 'top 35' rule in the first place, then it would never be an issue.

NASCAR should just ban the buying of points, its worse when a team that is pure crap will just enter and end up being a backburner or a S&P.

They can't ban it. They can't regulate what an owner does as far as gaining teams as long as it's fewer than five teams the owner has.

I don't see RCR as anything near a joke. The economy and loss of JD is why they are closing the team down. Sponsors want to have their choice in driver anymore. But also most can't afford to sponsor a car with the hefty price tags.

It's about time Richard realized he didn't have the resources for 4 teams. Seems Richard learned from last year's struggles. It's sad for the crew, fab guys, shop guys who might wind up unemployed but it happens.

Why did this turn into a convo of buying points? who cares? The bigger issue is another good driver not having a ride. Maybe Casey's not the best driver out there, but Clint is the only RCR car to win in the past 2 years in a point's race. I lost all respect for Richard Childress. I like his d rivers, but I hope the organization fails and that he shoots himself in the foot hunting. Yea, I can get mean, but I'm pissed. Another driver that i like a lot bites the dust. btw just a side note Bowyer=single Mears=engaged (heard the wedding is tommorrow or sunday) with a 15 month old daughter
