Joe Gibbs Racing’s Joey Logano was spun while leading on the final lap of the NASCAR Camping World West Series Bennett Lane Winery 200 on Saturday afternoon at Infineon Raceway. The driver who tapped him, Patrick Long, was penalized and scored at the tail end of the lead lap, with Jason Bowles inheriting the win. Logano finished 17th. Two other Sprint Cup drivers were in the field: Boris Said (EM Motorsports in Cup) finished fourth and David Gilliland (TRG Motorsports) finished 31st.(SceneDaily)(6-20-2009)

I guess Patrick Long was trying to use a move that got used at him in the East race at Watkins Glen the week before. Except Ryan Truex just nudged him at the Glen, he didn't punt him. Shame for Joey. He could've become the third driver ever to win multiple races in the East and West Series (Chuck Bown, Brian Ickler).
