Plastic Promo Cards

Anyone know how rare or common these are?
I have had like 5-6 diff Jeff Gordon Promo's for YEARS.

I was told they were only given out to big time card shops to show what the coming years cards were planned to look like.
Is this true?

Are promo cards really worth anything?
I think a couple I have don't even have a number or company on em.

Ya, they did do a lot of promo cards for Jeff to show what coming years cars would like like and such... The biggest one I remember was the 2000 promo card for his new paint... I would guess they're worth something, but not sure if it's A LOT more than regular cards or what...

LOL I see the card chatter is limited at best!

Looks like value wise when it comes to NASCAR there isn't a lotta $$$ in the Cards just the Cars.
