Default Spiderman 3

i took the family to see the movie today. it was 2 hours and 20 min long, so just a bit longer than your normal spidey movie. i thought the movie was about as good as the others and that is being polite about it. i am a fan of Spiderman comics and have been for a long time. my biggest complaint with the spiderman trilogy they have done, is that they have walked so far off of story line that it aint funny anymore. if you have never followed the comics then it is a great movie, but for those that know what really has happened in the real story line, get ready for another dissapointment. it had good graphics in it, great fight scenes, but thats about it. i have a complaint list about a mile long on these movies, but at the same time if they come out with a part 4 i will go see it. i love my comics and my movies.

i could go on about my complaints but i dont want to ruin the movie for others. the only complaint i will post is the actor they got to play Eddie Brock. for the uncomic people, Eddie Brock was a rather large guy. if you ever watched wrestling, remember Brock Lesner? well that is pretty much what Eddie looked like, even size wise. but instead of getting a muscled up guy to play him they cast Topher Grace to play him. for those that dont know who Topher is, he was the guy that played Eric on that 70's show.

so other than that, go watch it and judge for yourself.

like i said if i wasnt a comic person, then i would have loved the movie.

Can't be worse than the Superman movie, that changed up everything to make Superman look cool, but it ended being a total flop.

I haven't seen it yet, but I know what you're talking about as far as straying from the story. I think X-Men 3 totally killed the storyline as far as the X-Men movies go and hated the story there. I hope Spider-Man three doesn't leave that same bad taste in my mouth.

i see that there might be a part 4 in 2009, but where did you read there will be 3 more?

i know Tobey and Kirsten have both stated that they will not be back for the next instalment if it is ever produced.

I read it on Wikipedia, apparently Sony Pictures wants another three movies. The last two movies will be based on Spidergirl. But like you said Tobey and Kristen don't seem to be intrested, they barley got them to do this one.
