We hope everyone has had a great start to the New Year and are as excited as we are to see some great racing in 2010. Remember the action really kicks off this weekend as Danica makes her debut in the ARCA series on Saturday afternoon.
Please read through this E-mail blast CAREFULLY as we believe you will find some important and helpful information.
RCCA Shipping News
UPS is BACK! RCCA has transitioned back to shipping via UPS Ground. We have listened to complaints on deliveries from you, our consumers and would like to apologize for any impact this has had on your delivery. We were ill advised by our service provider regarding deliveries, impact to consumers and method of delivery. Going forward all domestic orders will begin shipping UPS Ground unless you have a PO Box address. PO Box and International addresses will continue to ship USPS.
Combined Shipping is now available! Available on in stock purchases only. Die-cast shipping will be $8.50 for the 1st car and $4 for each additional up to 6 cars per order. This only applies to in stock die-cast and MUST be ordered by calling customer service. Web orders will not be processed with combined shipping due to system limitations at this time.
Platinum and Gold Member Quarterly Discounts
Your new E-Point benefit for 2010 can now be used! RCCA announced a new benefit for 2010 that was for Platinum and Gold members to receive an electronic discount each quarter. Platinum members will receive (1) 10% off discount and Gold members will receive (1) 5% off discount per quarter. These are available now and can be used from now until March 31st for quarter one. Remember if you don't use it, you lose it. You will not be able to "advance cash in" on the next quarter. You are only allowed 1 per quarter and discounts cannot be applied to orders already placed. Quarter 2 discounts will be available from April 1st until June 30th, Quarter 3 from July 1st until September 30th and Quarter 4 from October 1st until December 31st 2010.
How to use your Discount: When calling in to place an order you must request that you would like to attach your Quarterly E-point Benefit discount to your order to receive any type of discount. This will not be done systematically as it will give you an opportunity to choose which order you would like to receive your discount on. Even better news.....you can use on preorders as this is not designated for in stock product only! * Not available for Thunder die-cast pre-orders.

Remember you will have 1 per quarter. We are not planning to post any email reminders or postings online as reminders. If you are a Platinum or Gold member you have these to use. So be sure to use 1 per quarter!

Collector Spotlight

Upcoming Die-cast Specials
The first quarter E-point cars were a hit, selling out at a lighting fast pace. Unfortunately some members missed out on the cars they wanted so we want to give you a sneak peek at the die-cast that will be available next quarter!
The following die-cast will be available in April: Dale Jr 2010 National Guard (available April 26th), Jeff Gordon 2010 National Guard (available April 27th), Mark Martin 2010 Go Daddy (available April 28th), Tony Stewart 2010 Burger King (available April 29th) and Kyle Busch 2010 M&M’s (available April 30th).
In addition, here is a sneak peek at what could be the HOTTEST special for 2010. HMS and Motorsports Authentics have teamed up once again for a special Patriotic Memorial Day weekend at the Coca Cola 600! Be on the lookout for all four HMS cars to be decked out in some very special patriotic colors as we Honor our Soldiers! A portion of all the proceeds will go to benefit a military charity.

WTF!!!!! Why does everything always focus on her! Should have said "with the Bud Shootout or Daytona 500 Qualifying"

Because like it or not, Danica is the big news in NASCAR this year.

Ya, but they are focusing on her when there are things like J.J. going for a 5th straight championship (hopefully that won't happen) and so much more...

Yeah, well, there are a lot of us who don't care for Danica. I just do not see what all the hype is over her.

I have to agree with Kspool on this. It is huge news for Nascar. This sport just got a large boost in the number of fans who will be watching racing on TV. For right now that would be ARCA and Nationwide. If you dont like all the coverage now, then you will really hate it if she ever gets a chance to run a cup race. The more fans we get, the better the TV ratings, the better track attendance, which may help with sponsor issues. Just my opinion......I am not a Danica fan, but I am glad she is attempting to enter Nascar (the right way). To answer the question why all the hype: She is a female with a strong personality (she will say whats on her mind).

If you hate it now, wait and see what happens if she happens to win a race. If you think Logano was overhyped last year, you ain't seen nothing yet.

I am not looking forward to the hype surrounding Danica and I know it will only get worse. She just isn't worth all the hype in my opinion.
