Default RCCA 2009 Wraps

I've been reading some of the comments over at RCCA about problems with the new decal wraps they have done on the 2009 cars. Since I don't have any 2009 Mears cars yet I haven't had the chance to see what RCCA has done with the Elites.

Am I correct in believing that RCCA quit doing tampo graphics in their quest to drop detal to save money?

If that's the case, how do you guys think the wraps compare to the tampos? Doesn't sound like it's going very well, and if that's going to be the standard for the Elites going forward I can't see how this is going to help them keep their superiority on the market.

How do the wraps look? Is the entire car a wrap, or is it just the raced markings?

Will wraps eventually become the norm for all cars in the future?

A lot of the more complicated paint schemes they do in the wraps. So with all the details on the raced versions they do them that way. Some others Ive seen that are wraps to give an example are the Stewart Back to School, Ashley Force Ronald McDonald House, RObert Hight Dodgers 50th, Stewart Swagger, and I think all the Smoke cars were done with wraps.

I dont really have any feelings which one I like better. Now when I get a car though I make sure to inspect it very closely because I had one car that had 2 spots where the wrap was scratched off and had a really bad seam around the taillights

That explains the sponsor marking being dislocated on the Logano raced win then, the wrap was off center huh? Interesting.

I think that issue was the result of an error in design on the roof cam placement vs. the actual car.

As far as the wraps on all cars in the future, I hope they don't abandon the tampo process altogether. I like the high quality of the actual painted logos on the car that you can feel when you rub your finger across it.
