They may have marked it Silver Series on the box... its the same thing as gld, so ARC might have just marked it silver series instead.... I guess he wanted to cover his ass.

Spool, its my auction so I'll tell you exactly what it is. THe action gold series and the silver series are a 1:24 Hood Open diecast. THe Gold series is what will be available to dealers on the nationwide cars and other select programs later this year. The silver series is basically the exact same car but is used for Promos and other corporate produced products.

And the reason the Title wasn't changed is because after there is a bid you cannot change the Title.

Thanks-- I had never heard of the Silver Series and I thought maybe they were introducing yet another line to confuse the hell out of us even more! It's nice to know that it's the exact same thing, just a promo!! The promo guys will probably be all over that one, especially since he won in it!

Barb at RCCA metioned last year that there would be a Sivler-Gold-Platinum series of cars this year. I forgot about the silver series until this thread.
