this far into the season and the cars are still wrong. The 09 Kenseth USG that came out this week still has the 08 front end. Hell CFS got the 09 ASK.com car right why can't MA.

most likey because the usg car was approved before the changes were made and labontes was produced after the changes to the head lights. not really MA's fualt (maybe) since ford change there marketing plans late after the season.

the 09 ford front end was announced at Homestead last year that they would be the 2010 frontend. The cars where made 3 to 4 weeks ago. There is no excuse.

I'm going to keep it because it's the only Kenseth paint scheme that changed from last year. Heck the 09 Dewalt is actually correct for 08 and the 08 is wrong with the black splitter instead of yellow. Maybe he will win in the usg car and r&l car so it may be made correct. Hope they don't wonder how the Cali car meet MOQ and the 09 carhartt and dewalt are just sitting because not many want the wrong made car that looks just like the 08.

The cars were NOT made 3-4 weeks ago-- if you have the car in your hands, production was started 5-6 MONTHS ago.

Exactly. If youre going to blame anyone... blame the team. MA runs the drawing past the respective team, and when they give it the greenlight, MA goes ahead, and makes it, which, as spool stated... takes a looong time.

yes the designs where done 5 to 6 months before but actually making them isn't going to take 5 to 6 months. It cant be that hard to change the front end design before they really started making them. CFS made the ASK car in 2 months right as they are aleady out and that team and sponser just came together right before the season. The actuall process of painting and stickering the cars is done faster then you think. It's not rocket science. It takes a container two weeks to go across the ocean. Well from Texas to france anyway.

You know, I am sick of all this bitching about stupid shit like headlights and contignency decals and small shit like that. 15-20 years down the road, when you look at your diecast, who's really going to know that the fucking headlights are wrong, or who's going to give a shit? Why are you guys so nit-picky about these things anyway? If you want them so perfect, hire a custom designer and have them build them for you. There are plenty to be found on Ebay and even on this site. They may not be as cheap, but you can get them, and have every little detail the way you want them. Little tweaks are made all the time, but you guys are so fucking anal it's ridiculuous (not rediculous)!! I am so over it!! End of rant!!:focus: | ![]() | ||
