In the first ever New Hampshire race in 1993, Jeff Burton made his Winston Cup debut in a Ford Thunderbird fielded by FILMAR Racing that had been borrowed from Roush Racing, where Burton would eventually make his mark in the sport, scoring seventeen wins while driving for the team from 1996-2004. Unfortunatly Burton put the car into the wall in New Hampshire, bringing an early end to his Cup debut. The pictures are really horrible, sorry about that. I took them before I really knew what I was doing. and I should retake them. ![]() You can see here the hood is not on correctly, showing the area underneath the hood. The kit I used was molded in red. ![]() ![]() I learned a very valuable lesson on this model, as well. DO NOT hit decals with compressed air at close range! :(
