Smile Which sports page do you read to stay updated?

You must actually purchase (I know a lost art in todays world) a newspaper and read.
I like: Santa Rosa Press Democrat they have two very good sports writers with very good inside knowledge of my favorite teams.
I like the San Francisco Chronicle as well.We get the early edition so it doesnt always have late breaking stories or late scores. When I get off the mountain and can go to civilization I will pick up the Chronicle.

I do not purchase a paper of any kind. In the little town I live in, we have two papers. One morning and one evening. They are exact copies of each other except the header is different. I worked for them quite a few years ago, and things have gone way down hill over the years. I refuse to give them my money for them to print what they get offa the AP wire and charge me for it.
I use ESPN on the net, and ESPN streaming radio from Pittsburgh, Cleveland and New York, and FSN Pittsburgh on the TV.
As far as the usual hard news items, believe it or not, I get most of it from my fellow members here in their posts!

I read Nascar.com, NFL.com, the the DenverPost.com. Woody Paige is my favorite columnist-- he is funny but he also tells it like it is. I also like to catch him on "Around the Horn" when I can.

actually, i get most my sports off the radio 24 hours sports stations. fox, sporting news, and espn. wfan in new york is good, and i pick it up way down here on the eastern shore of maryland, especially overnight.

i also check all the sports websites like yahoo, espn, minor league baseball.com(milb.com), orioles minor leagues baseball and other teams minor league sites.

only glance at the local front page sports section, to see how a local school might be doing.
sorry ken, i got off topic, i rarely read papers.

Try this page for ESPN streaming radio through your PC. All of the ESPN stations and the ESPN master feed right through your computer. I listen to ESPN 1250 Pittsburgh constantly. They are an AM station, so I wouldn't be able to get them here if they weren't on my PC. :top:

SI.com and Nascar.com

I haven't purchased a newspaper for a few years. I listen to my local ESPN radio station for sports news.

It appears I am the only one who purchases a newspaper.

When I want to look up stuff on the Cavs, Tribe, Browns, and Buckeyes, I'll go to cleveland.com.

If it is sports in general, usually ESPN.com.
