Default A question for someone who has been following the MLB so far during this offseason...

Question number one,
I see the Mets made an offer to Jason Bay. Any word on whether he took it, if anyone else made an offer and where he may end/have ended up?
Question two,
I understand the Pirates are interested in Rick Ankiel and want to offer a one year deal to get them into there minor league prospects for the 2011 season. Anyone know if this is true, and if any movement has happened on it? I would LOVE to see Ankiel come here!

Bay has not accepted a contract anywhere as of right now. I think he's holding out for Holliday to sign. As for Ankiel KC needs to be going after him. Sorry Ken but I wonder if he would consider the Pirates or even KC because he wants another ring. Only time will tell plus I don't see Rick going back to the minors when he's better then most of the Pirates outfielders.

Bay is holding out for another bid, which may not happen. Ankiel could end up in Pittsburgh, but I wouldn't be surprised if a sleeper team ends up getting him.

If Ankiel come to Pittsburgh, I see him starting everyday in right field. That would be why they sign him. They have a one year opening there, and a guy in AAA ready to come up in another year.
Thanks for the info guys.

The only reason I see him not going to Pittsburgh is that he wants to be on a winning team. Then again, if nobody else is offering.
