its such a shame that a seemingly genuine person who had such a wealth of talent and really was such a great inspiration to kids in a world where roids, poor sportsman ship and overall inappropriate behavior would turn out to have his priority's completely backwards and be guilty of it himself... it really is sad that his entire career and everything he accomplished will forever be overshadowed by this... even if he does golf again

He is still a good example as far as most of the things you mentioned are concerned.
He just did what most guys do, let his little head run his big head.
I just can't figure out when he had the time.
This will blow over, as soon as there is another sports figure that screws up.

Just a question: What iconic sports player hasn't had bad news like this?
Federer? Pele? Schumacher? Hank Aaron? Chamberlin?

just goes to show, no matter how much a person has (swedish model wife, 2 beautiful kids, billions of dollars, his own island) it's never enough... always have to have more, more, more (or in his case 12+ more)

That is the difference between then and now.
Of course, they didn't have the endorsements then they do now, that your behavior can reflect badly on.

It's not so much a case of "having" to have more, but rather being rich enough that he "can" have more and more.

Tiger Woods will always be the greatest golfer in history. No one can take that away from him, no matter how hard the media tries it's best to.

It's amazing how the so called color blind media has attacked this guy on the basis of race. I thought only Republican Conservatives were racists. Georgetown University Professor Eric Dyson told Joy Behar on her show that Tiger has "bought into the lie of what's beautiful" (white blondes). As if Tiger can't make his own decision to be attracted to certain women, but has been brainwashed into liking them.

Here come the creeps from the woodwork!!

It shows the truth of the old adage money can't buy happiness. Clearly he's a person not happy with the life he's chosen, and this is an issue that's long been rumored of Tiger.

With that said, I don' think this will harm him professionally in the long term, but he needs to grab the bull by the horns and figure out what it is he wants out of life.

To add to Avi's question what normal blooded american hasn't cheated? You only see it on the news when it's a public figure what about the billions of people who cheat on their spouses a year that aren't of public stature. They are just as low and wrong as Tiger is and like normal people he hid it to cover his ass.
