I am by far nowhere close to a Yankees fan, but they last won the Championship in 2000 yes the now 27 but it's been 9 years. Hell Florida beat them for petes sake. They have all the money to get the best talent, but that doesn't guarantee them a Championship every year. And hopefully I can say this and it won't happen but I doubt the Yanks can get the best first basemen in baseball out of Pujols and Howard. They don't have all of the best lights out pitchers either. Hell they are missing on Greinke and Carpenter who could/would win 20+ plus games each for them. So All I can say is they got the money they got 27 but they will get their asses whopped on in 2010.

wow, a yankee hater saying this. kinda nice to see. if money does bring championships why haven't they won every yr since 96???? because it isn't true, thats why. along with the money you need good/great talent and thats what the yanks had this yr. a team that didn't quit for once. it also helped a-rod got the bat going in the playoffs this yr too. guess mark tx. had the old a-rod jinx this yr.

Hopefully the Cards will bring it next year because as we all know my other team the Royals will bring it to the toilet yet again.
