I agree that it does suck for Seattle, but there has been many occasions where a professional sports team changes locations. One of the biggest examples was the Baltimore Colts moving to Indianapolis back in 1984. You think Baltimore natives weren't upset about that move? Of course they were. It happens all the time, and OKC is most definitely not the first to do so.

@Hendrickfan54

The reason why the SuperSonics moved to Oklahoma City was because Clay Bennett(Owner of Thunder) wanted Seattle to build them a bigger stadium and Seattle denied them so Bennett moved the team to Oklahoma City.

They didn't hatch a plan to move they just wanted a bigger stadium to make more money but that didn't happen.

Still doesn't matter that Lebrick won a Championship. It took him 3 tries plus he had to have Wade and Bosh. Would be more impressive if he would have won it in 06 with the Cavs

I think more people are impressed by the Thunder anyways. This is their what 5th year in existence and they make it to the finals? They will be back and I hope it's against the Heat so they can get some revenge!

If I recall correctly it took MJ four times against the Pistons before he got his first title with Chicago and that was after Chicago surrounded him with talent.

The Sonics/Thunder will be back next year...

The Thunder are a very young and inexperienced team. But they have incredible that they showed this year and will get better and most likely be back in the Finals next year. I really don't like Brooks way of coaching but it got them to the Finals.

Two big flops happened in the last week, Dale Jr won a race and LeBum won a title, I was hoping that he would wait for more than 8 years.

Actually, it took Jordan 6 years to win his first title. It took LeBron 8 seasons.
