The AL picked Roy Halladay for the starting pitcher!! WTF?
I think they should have started Zach. That would have made me so happy and proud to be a Royals fan. He has 10 wins with a team with no offense!! Halladay has plenty of backup for his wins. But Zach will Win the AL Cy Young award im pretty sure so at least he has that.

Greinke would get the start in most cases but you are forgetting that he has more starts than Halladay (due to the DL) and has the same stats. Doc is the better pitcher right now and Greinke is pitching for a team that is falling fast.

I think Greinke should've gotten the nod. But it's hard to argue against Halladay, who I think is the best pitcher in the majors when healthy.

I really dont think thats called for. Anyway Halladay is a great selection. Arguing for either him or Greinke produces valid points.

On the saved by the bell issue...I would rather see Screech as the starting pitcher.
