Lebron gets dunked on!

There has been alot of talk going on about this for a while. Some student and Lebron's camp dunked right in Lebron's face. Nike won't release the video to the press because I guess it is very emberasing to Lebron. I don't get it, Jordon later in his career had a camp going on and he got dunked and he didn't make a big deal out of it. Jordan didn't make it a big deal out of it but the press did. I hope they release the tap beacuse I wan't to see how bad the guy dunked on him.

AKRON, Ohio (AP) -- What happens at LeBron's camp stays at LeBron's camp.
A minor controversy erupted at the LeBron James Skills Academy on Monday night when two videographers recorded a pickup game in which Xavier's Jordan Crawford dunked on James.
Gary Parrish reported on CBSSports.com that a Nike representative confiscated tapes of the dunk after conferring with James.
A representative with Nike, which runs the camp at the University of Akron in James' hometown, made no mention of Crawford's dunk. He said the tapes were confiscated because videotaping of after-hours pickup games at the camp is not allowed.
"Nike has been operating basketball camps for the benefit of young athletes for decades and has long-standing policies as to what events are open and closed to media coverage. Unfortunately, for the first time in four years, two journalists did not respect our no videotaping policy at an after-hours pickup game following the LeBron James Skills Academy," said Nike spokesman Derek Kent on Wednesday.
A spokesman for James said he had no comment.
The camp features 80 top basketball prospects from around the nation.
Crawford said his dunk happened in the first 20 minutes of a game that lasted about two hours and did not prompt any reaction from James.
"We just went on playing," Crawford said Wednesday. "It was exciting just to be playing on the same court as him. I can see why he is so great at what he does."

i know lebrons a big bad nba guy but ive watched crawford and hes pretty good

From what I have been told, this is what happened. Danny Green was guarding Crawford, Green lost him, Lebron went away from his man at the last minute to stay in front of the basket, and he got there and by the time he jumped, Crawford was already in the air and slamming it home, I personally don't consider that "embarrassing" despite what Nike says, it isn't like Lebron was being posterized or anything.

Trying to hide the tapes is making it worse, it just gives everyone a reason to make fun of Lebron, I don't know if Lebron is asking them to hide them or anything, but if he is, then he is an ass. Even the best get out shined sometimes. Everyone remember when Iverson crossed Jordan out of his socks? How about when Sasha Pavlovic broke Derek Fishers ankles then dunked over Kobe? People wouldn't be making as big a deal about this if they weren't trying to hide it.

I'm not sure how true it is, that is what people were saying on the Cavs boards. Someone might have tried to alter the story some, but if it is true 100 percent, he wasn't embarrassed or posterized or anything that bad, stuff like that happens in every NBA game, and you don't see it on the highlight reel ever.

Exactly. If they had released the tapes from the beginning, ESPN would have talked about it for a day, and it wouldn't be that big of a deal. But they have been talking about it for the past two or three days now since they are hiding the tapes.

It is supposedly Nike because they don't want people to see their star getting "embarrassed" as they put it.
