Cowherd's reasoning was that he's a former USC coordinator under Pete Carroll and would you rather live in the mountains of Tennessee or the beaches of LA? Would you rather live in a sports poor town of Knoxville or the sports rich town of LA? Would you rather get your ass kicked in the SEC or play in the Pac-10? He had it all laid out and said to be on the lookout for Kiffin going west.
