He let his "I'm the greatest" attitude take over. Remember he led the league in yards in 2006, barely and has usually hovered around 7-9 TD a year. He pulled that Hall of Fame jacket deal in 2007 and his yards have declined since. Then the stupid ass Ocho-Cinco deal was funny for a minute, 1 minute. Now he is what, the 4th best WR with the last name of Johnson. Steve, Andre and Megatron are by far better than he has been. He could have a resurgence, who knows. I doubt it.

I can think of quite a few players that have had domestic issues and their team pretty much looked the other way. I've heard that Miami is trying to "clean" things up, but I'm guessing his diminished skills probably weighed heavily into their decision. The only thing that he was good at were deep routes, he never went over the middle or wasn't a possession reciever and now that he's lost a step or two he's pretty much worthless. Last seaon, his stupidity, laziness, or both was finally showcased in New England for everyone in the country to see. He's a bum, plain and simple. He doesn't pay his child support, his taxes, and now he likes to beat up on women.

Nailed it. They took a chance on him and realized it was a waste of time and space, regardless of what happened off the field (which didn't help anything either)
