Hit my local Kmart here in town today and saw that they had just re-stocked the Greenlight Cruise In 5 packs . So what do you think the FIRST one in the group had in it ?? A " GREEN MACHINE " !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its the cruise in Mustang 5 pack , which is really nice since it has past and present stangs in it . But the GREEN MACHINE cars are super hard to find !! I attatched a pic of it !

What makes them "special"? Is it the paint or something else? I'm not to familiar with these.

Nice find there Nick! I have the green machines for the convertible and the gold 68 on the right hand side for that set. Both are in individual packs but I have them all the same. They are the only two I have found so far and you know I look for chase, treasure hunts, and Green Machines everytime I go in a store! Your the first one I have seen post that they found one in a 5 pack!

JPM, Yes the metallic green paint makes them the chase cars to the series. I've heard but can't verify that only about 250 of each make are made in that metallic green paint scheme. I know that some can bring $30 -$50 each on ebay. They are very similar to finding the RC chrome chase, or the Hot Wheels treasure hunt cars for Green light series.

Thats all very true ! I was like Oh My Gosh !!!!! A GREENIE ! lol . Anyway there is a website that has this set for $75.00 on his website . www.kennyscollectibles.com is the site . But he has sold some of them for $125.00 before . But yeah i guess you can say that i got to Kmart at the right time before the scalpers had a shot at them !!!!!!!!!!

Nice find! Greenlight cars are super hard to find here. I've been looking for a hardtop 1965 Coronet for almost a year with no luck!
