Why? Most, if not all, of the Toyota Camrys sold in the U.S. are built in Kentucky. The Chevy & Ford cars are passenger sedans. They're not rear wheel drive V8 cars. The Totoya Camry is just as "American" as any of the other cars. There are quite a few foreign made parts on American cars. I have no issue with Toyota or any other company that has a plant in the U.S. competing in NASCAR. At one time Dodge was owned by a German company, Daimler. Today Fiat, an Italian company, is he majority owner of Chrysler. Should Dodge not be in NASCAR? What about when the U.S. taxpayer owned 60% of GM, should they have been allowed to use taxpayer monies to compete in motorsports? I don't understand the argument against Toyota in NASCAR.
