Default Raced Version Diecast Idea's

I have been throwing some idea's at M/A about the raced version diecast to make them more desirable. Last year we had the box include the race facts and some information about the driver's win. This year they have added a collectors pin. I still think we need something else. Looking for some idea's that could tie the diecast and something from the race together.

Here is my first suggestion to them:

What about a used ticket stub from the race, the one's the track tears off when you walk through the gate. I mean whatever happens to these anyway. Suppose M/A could get these from the track and include a torn ticket stub from the race inside the box also. Another option would be to reproduce the ticket with the seat number being the total production run. Example ticket would be a remake with the seat number being 1004 which would represent the production run. Any feed back on this idea.

I like the ticket stub idea, but how about a dvd of the race itself or highlights of the race including the last 10 laps.

I always thought they should include a small checkered flag that could be stuck in the driver side window with possibly the name of the race and the date.

i think that they could be more accurate by taking out the passenger side window on the short track cars.

i also like the dvd idea.

Those are great ideas. I was thinking the other day that they could make the regular cars look more like a car ready to race as opposed to the way it looks now, which is like a show car.
They could put the tear off tabs on the windshield, the flourescent lines on the tires that show where the air stem is, the RF/LF/RR/LR markings, grill tape, hub markings etc. Stuff the car has on it when it is sitting on the grid ready to race, as opposed to the cars that appear at shows, businesses etc. Just a thought. The raced cars could still have the rubber residue and damage etc. to seperate them from the regular cars.

I like the DVD idea as well, but if they use MRN, and not FOX or ESPN. It could significantly raise the price though.

ehh...not sure about the ticket stub idea if you weren't there...I have a few I keep with the winners. I have a diorama of JJ's vegas win with my Neon garage pass and some VL hats. Same with Kurt's MIS win and Kahne's MIS when he drove the Click car. Perhaps a used lug nut??? I have tons of those including the Kahne, Kurt's Pocono win, Junebug's MIS "win", Kyle Busch Truck win. I put the number on the lug with a sharpie. Granted getting 1000 plus lugs might be a challenge...but I suppose limiting the number of race win cars to say 200 wouldn't be too tough with five lugs and four tires, 20 per stop with say 10 stops?

Racing Champions used to include a piece of sheet metal w/the Authentics cars. I have had a couple of Blaney cars w/sheet metal in the base. They could include it in a card type toploader w/the car.

i think that the damage could be more realistic, like actual dents instead of just painting them. or if decals are hanging off, they could actually have the decals hang off instead of jusy painting them as if they were hanging off. seems like it would be a lot of work but would make it more desirable. jmo
