"Introduction to Mayhem"

Default Wii pinball...memory lane...

well, the kids recieved a Wii for their birtday ( I have twins so it was a joint gift...which they were MORE than happy with...) Fortunately I got one for cost instead of paying some a-hole scalper fee...

My wife purchased a "Pinball hall of fame" williams edition...and back in college in our dorm they used to have the "space shuttle" game. My roomates and I used to play that thing every day. We got pretty good at it, to the point where we would rack up enough free games to play the whole day. One of the best memories was a day we played from morning until dark...and as we rotated to class (uhh a few might have been skipped...) the others would keep the game going...it was a riot...at the time. Well, low and behold I open up the Wii game only to find the 1984 classic space shuttle...JUST as I remembered it. I could almost smell the dorm food down the hall...it played like the real game right down to bonuses and sound effects. Called a couple of my roomates to give them a heads up...the guy I roomed with directly I hadn't talked with for quite some time...both being busy with work and whatever...we cracked up and talked for about an hour. It was classic, and the more I described the Wii version, the more he remembered about the game. Kind of a cool feature as well, once you complete the missions and score high enough you can unlock features including a full description of game strategy. Which targets to hit, etc based on the original game designer's notes. It was a blast. So those of you with a Wii handy, and a penchant for "REAL" games...it's worth it. Good times!

Gonna pick that game up, where did you get it and what price if you don't mind me asking because I don't remember seeing that game today at Wal-Mart.
