Default Need some help!!!

Why does the left side of the rear look like it goes straight down but the right side is curved. Is that the way the cars look on the track im not sure.

No, that is NOT how the cars are. What you have there is Action putting the decals on crooked. When they switched to the decal style in 2005 or so, as opposed to actually painting on all the graphics, that has become a far too common problem, although I've never seen it on a 24th before. I don't look at many however

Billy, he is talking about the contour of the body. If you look closely you can see that the drivers side is almost straight up and down, and the passengers side is more curved, or bowed out if you will. That has nothing to do w/the placement of the tampos.

body contours on the COT are how they get the cars to turn
the cars seem to look like they are crab walking on the straights
it gets the boxy cars to turn and maintain downforce on left turns
some tracks seem to have cars more "Yawed out "than others
last year Sam H #77 and Newmans #12 were really obvious
it did look strange

I'm not seeing that in the picture....all I see is the curved rookie stripe on the right side. I don't think I've ever looked at a 1/24 Toyota CoT in person though so maybe I am just not familiar enough with it.

I pulled out some of my 1/64 CoTs, NOW I see it. Duh, can't see the forest for the trees I guess.

I imagine that is accurate, as they put the styrofoam in the sides and there is more in the right side than there is on the left/drivers side.
