need help finding some sheet metal

I'm trying to find some sheet metal from this car that ran on September 23 2001. this was my first cup race and this car holds alot of sentimental meaning to me. I don't even know if the car was peiced out but i'm hoping it was. any help would be majorly appriciated!


i would really like a piece with some orange on it but beggars cant be choosers.

I didn't, A) know he crashed that car and B) that it had an Oriole head on the quarter panels. I've seen that die-cast a million times and didn't realize this. Did he run it more than once?

not that i know of i think it was only run once, at Dover for the Cal Ripken Jr 400. lol yeah the head was always on the side, its on the diecast too, probably in the top 3 of my favorite diecasts.

One of my favorites as well. It combined my favorite driver with my favorite baseball player. That car was only run once and it wrecked pretty early in the race.

I have not seen any sheetmetal for that car in the past. Did you get any of the Cal Ripkin 400 flag they were giving out w/ the American flags at the gates?

no my cousin and i just missed them, every gate we went to was out! i was really upset. got some extras?

Nope, I don't know of any. I do know someone that's getting a nice piece of sheetmetal any day now, though! :D

I was only luck to get one & I gave that to a friend who was unable to go to the race cause he was called to active duty. Thats how it became my wifes first race.
