Ok well i went ahead and started First i used a industrial adhesive remover to take off the the decals. It worked so well it also made the paint bubble so I know that a few recommend leaving the paint on the car but that was not a option for me so now i have a bare metal car! What is the best paint to get that sticks the best to bare metal i am going to primer first then go with a flat black or grey I have to look for pics yet. Here are some pics of the car

Just use some grey/gray primer. No need for flat paint afterward. I can ship you some decals that have some black logos and numbers (it's on the house).

Ok, here's what I did for my Sadler 2005 Busch car:

I used Rust Oleum Clean metal primer under Rust Oleum Automotive White and Yellow. The clear topcoat is future floor wax.
Don't mix Laquer with Enamel paint or you'll cause the finish to bubble. Use either all laquer or enamel from start to finish.

Check Randy Ayers NASCAR modeling forum for more details on painting.

For the black numbers and letters I would try www.smhracing.com. It's a fabulous decal and model kit haven.

Cheers!!
