Just got my donor car in today from RCCA (White Gold Elite) and the right front suspension is broken. Got the car for $30 so I don't want to send back if I don't have to (cause there would go my custom). As the title implies, will an standard ARC chassis fit an Elite body? Yes, but there will be nothing for the hood and trunk hinges to attach too. You could pick up a cheap Elite donor if you were just after the body anyway, then you'd still have an Elite chassis.
