Question Paint Stipper, Paint, Clear Coat Question

I'm in the process of making my first custom and I was wondering what brands of Paint Stripper, Paint, and Clear Coat someone who does customs a lot would recommend and where to pick them up. Any help would be great. Thanks!

Well I know your doing 1/24 but, I will try and help on where to get the things you need. Stripper wise, I use aircraft stripper in a spray can at Autozone, then white you could get the Duplicolor spray can from Autozone, I am not sure exactly what clear coat to use for 1/24 tho.

Well the aircraft stripper is about eight bucks a can (bigger then your average one), I know alot of other customizer's use acetone, which I don't. yes the stuff is the same price roughly but its less. but it's stuff people use on cars, and if your making it for yourself and it's your first just use the normal krylon stuff if you want to just preference.

Hey Gabe if you check my photos in the customs section you'll find a Sadler 1/24 2005 Busch car I did with the aircraft stripper and Duplicolor paint.

If you have more questions try over here as well. It's a really great site.

I've been using Klean-Strip Premium Stripper from Lowe's. Took the paint off to bare metal with no problem. It turns into a foam when you shoot it and barely any smell. Good stuff!
