Default 1/64 Custom How to

Well this is for all people that would want to do 1/64 customs

You need decals (duh), car and a drill with a 1/8th inch drillbit, to drill out the rivets, then you do the same to the other rivets inside, then strip it to bare metal (be careful bad stuff whatever you use) then primer then paint then decals then clearcoat...

yeah just take all the plastic off the car and let it sit in the stripper for a while (the longer the better) BUT YOU WILL NEED CHEMICAL RESISTANT GLOVES OR YOU WILL GET BURNS!

after that the paint should wipe right off, steel wool steel wool works...

A clearcoat is a shiny finish that can come in a few different forms, and it also seals the decals onto the car, I've had good success using using pledge with future shine by dipping the body only in a resealable container filled with it ,Rustoleum furniture lacquer is what i use as i second coat to give the decals a smooth finish and then another coat of futures (i go abit overboard....) but just a furniture lacquer will be a good use for you as it can be sprayed.

Also decals for a usps money order will only be accepted by HOCustom.com, but if you have paypal hocustom and pattos are the two places are..
Welcome to HOCustom.com
Pattos Place Slot Cars & Decals

If i missed anything add it, (i used a little bit of what you said Mtruex56)

Also if someone could make this a sticky it will be helpful for people that want to learn hot to in the future

Is this process pretty much the same with a 1/24?
