Default Why you should have all the info before making a custom

You need reference pics and accurate info before making a custom car. This car is just wrong in so many ways.

VERY RARE * RCCA/ ELITE * #56 MARTIN TRUEX JR * FERRIS - eBay (item 290356839246 end time Oct-15-09 18:44:33 PDT)

1. This car is supposed to be a 2003 car (on a 2000-2002 Monte Carlo)
2. This is not a rookie car for Truex
3. Truex's rookie year was not 2001
4. He put the 'grass' decals in the wrong spot, left the quarter panel decals off (where he did put the grass) and the front is all wrong.

As far as I can see, he ruined a perfectly good set of Martin Truex Jr. #56 Ferris decals. I would've love to have had them and one the car right.

Here's what it's supposed to look like:

99% of what you said was spot on, but I know in at least a few races (including the car on the postcard), the car was a 2000-02 Monte Carlo with 2003 headlights.

But overall I totally agree. It's a car I want in my collection at some point seeing as I'm a huge Truex fan, but I'll pass on this one

I always shy away from guys that label their cars as "VERY RARE".

You can even tell it used to be a Harvick 2001 car......

Where can you tell Weisel? I know it sort of looks like one in the back but it looks painted on by hand.

Front bumper, and rear bumper are the exact same as Harvick's 01 ride. Its like he painted over the rest, and just left the front, and rear ends untouched.

Bob is correct! It even has the same contingencies (minus the Busch East logo, which he added)
