Default Tires

I noticed on a lot of customs that the tires have been modified. What exactly is done to the tires and how to you do it? I have a couple 1/24's and I'd like to have those really detailed tires.

If you're referring to the stripes and other marking tires pick up I would bet they are using decals.

i know some decal sheet, not sure about all of them, come with the decals to put on the tires.

another thing you can do would be to sand the tires with a piece of sandpaper so they look used. when i do them, i take them off of the car. it's easier to do, imo. but, they can be done while they're on.

Tire Goodies sheet:

2005-09 Tire Goodies

Mike's has a lot of those goodie sheets to help model builders and custom diecast makers. They're helpful when you're missing some of those details like contingencies, tire stuff, tear off decals, etc.

Matt passed Ross for the lead 38 laps into the first 50 lap race. The youngster is very good
