It would be alot of trouble to try and make one, a 1/64 isnt easy trying to go smaller is really hard.

The answer is yes. Is it going to be simple? Probably not. Here's the poop. If you hit most hobby shops, or train shops, you can find decal paper that works with ink jet printers. This stuff works well... it's primary use in model trains is for custom boxcars and decaled locomotives. So far so good. The hardest part of the whole adventure is going to be: - creating a custom template in word or something where you can lay out all the decals and print as a body wrap (difficult because of folding for corners etc, but if you have one that works for a larger scale, just shrink it and you're home free ... shrinking is pretty easy with graphics) or - create individual decals that you will apply individually (easier to print, harder to get looking perfect in application). If you've got this far you're home free. *If you need to disassemble* (which I would if I were going to this length, why live with tan safety netting and tan interior?) All of the Winner's Circle nascar die cast I have here are -riveted- front and back. This is a problem. You'll need to drill out the rivets and replace them, perhaps glue will be sufficient. If not you can glue in a post, thread it through the holes and melt it flat when you're done. Otherwise you can look at something like a Motor Max Fresh Cherries car (about $3 CAD at Wallymart) which are (gasp) screwed together with small machine screws. Stripping the old paint off is optional as far as I'm concerned, so long as you use a well adhesing primer (you'll still need to scuff it with fine grit sand paper). Apply your base coat and decals. If you actually attempt this please drop me a line with the results, I'd be VERY interested to see how it turns out. | ![]() | ||||

It is possible I suppose, but would be very hard.
