I've been on ebay for the past 3 months looking at Kyle Busch diecasts and I've only come across maybe 2 standard M&M's paint schemes from 08. The ones I have seen are really expensive. Production is 5,XXX so I was wondering where all the cars went and why are they so expensive?

As I remember the '08 standard M&M's scheme was underproduced for the demand and sold out very quickly, as it was Busch's first year with Gibbs. MA then released a liquid color car in greater quintities.

Gabe the liquid color cars have a very glossy finish. Thats the best way I know to descibe it.

A few reasons for this: - Low production (car sold out quick in Dealer network) - Record breaking year for most wins in a season - New sponsor - New Team All of that equals a valuable car with high demand, but little availability

I do remember that the car sold out quickly and they did not increase the production number. (This maintained the collectability of the originals.) Instead, they released the liquid color versions to supplement the market.
