OK so i got to thinking . You know how some of these websites you go to ship your package by USPS ? Well about 5 months ago i bought a 1/64 set and this website charged me $7.50 for shipping via USPS . I was like thats not too bad for 2 1/64's ! Well ....... i always have a tendancy to check the sticker on the box to see what they actually paid . So i got this websites package and the sticker said that they paid .... $5.50 !! I knew my face turned RED cuz i got hot in the face . So basicly they ripped me off $2.00 ! Thats 2.00 i could have used to put towards a NEW diecast for heaven sake ! I know alot of collectors dont mind the $2.00 , but when money is tight in your budget for diecast ... then you cant help but to get hot sometimes !!!! That was just a memory i had come to me just now while i was sitting here looking on diecast sites and what they charge for their shipping rates ! I recommend you check them stickers on your USPS boxes .. cuz sometimes they WILL tell you what the seller paid .

Meh, I would have been pissed if they shipped it first class for $2 or something.

The extra $2 is a handling charge, maybe for paying an employee to pack and mail the item. It also could be for the box, unless they got it free, packing materials and tape.

Complain to them and you will get nowhere with this one.

that isn't anything to get pissed about. if they charged you the $7.50 and them sent them in a bubble mailer that only cost $2.50, then you would have something to get a little mad at.

Plus they also have to use gas going to the post office as well. Its really not that big of a deal. Shipping and handling man. there is alot more that goes into it than just the cost to ship.

I always find it funny how the buyer is trying to get the most bang for their buck and the seller is trying to make as much as they can.

$2.00 isn't bad at all, try getting quoted a shipping price of $25.00 only to find that they only spent $11.00!!! Now that pisses me off!

Add shipping supplies like bubble wrap, the box to ship it in, the time spent to ship it out, and any other little expenses here and there.
