It seems people can't see the other persons reasons for their opinion or comment without accepting it as is. I can talk with someone and disagree as long as it's respectful. I've seen it happen here some lately and actually kind of sad people act that way. I will give you a short deal with what happened so you have an idea. The other member brought up using Lizard Lick Towing as a sponsor, and I said I don't think that would be a great idea because of the violence/image they put out. It seems like it would bring a bad image to a team (yea I'm sure people would follow it just because but maybe wrong ones). She came first with Ron being minster as if that let's him off the hook for how show is, and then when that didn't work. She used the I'm outnumbered in group and if I didn't have anything positive to say, I didn't need to be a member. The next one was where I drew the line because it went on to talk about my personal life that's private in nature if you catch my drift. I finally had enough and went to upper members about what was going on. She even threw the big dogs name out. My question is why can't folks just not go to that level over something so small and just a point I was making. This post contains 1 eBay auto-link(s) for your convenience. Driver(s): Dale Earnhardt Jr | Some folks just love confrontation and look for it. Sounds like tonight, this person was looking for a fight, and no matter how small the argument, they will somehow find a way to make it into a bigger one. Some people just have to fly their flag just a little bit higher than everyone else's. Sounds like you handled yourself the best way possible, and the other member did not..............

Happens too many times here as well .... the nature of the beast .... computer monitors make your balls grow ....

| Black #3 Fan ![]() Feedback: 22 reviews | @Wilbur..I am also in agreement with you in that is too bad when someone has the need to ridicule or try to bully others when they do not agree with their point of view. I also view those people with that attitude with the believe that even the cowardly lion wouldn't have acted so cowardly if he have had a keyboard in front of him. I guess you can call it keyboard courage. Last edited by vic; 08-17-2012 at 07:11 AM. | | ||

The internet does do strange things to people but it wasn't like I said all this negative stuff, or say hell no. I just stated a very simple opinion that could have been swayed had other facts been talked about. I just refuse to attack someone personally with false information or just be a bully. | ![]()

In general there is a lack of manners in areas of society.

Driver(s): Kasey Kahne | I've seen this on numerous times on here, RCCA, and FB (especially). When your behind a keyboard, like others have pointed out, thier courage goes thru the roof. If it was a sit down, face-to-face kind of deal... I'll bet you the conversation would have a different tone. One of the reasons why myself and a friend started a group on Facebook. We wanted a place where we can share our collections and knowledge together without these kinds of things happening. It's still young, with only about 45 members, but every member has control somewhat. Yes, there are two administrators, but everyone has a say in what goes on inside that group. I feel that the envioronment is safe to "smack talk" without it turning into "trash talk." It's a controlled envioronment without things getting out of hand, I guess you can say. Another big reason, why we wanted to start this group was to get down on a more personal level with each other. We all have one point wished that we could put faces to names... well, there we have. No one is hiding behind screen names and most of thier personal information is opened to the public. Well, what they have posted on thier personal pages are there for the world to see. Wish us luck, because I'm sure we'll have our growing problems soon enough. LOL! | ![]()
