really? wow...honestly a bit surprised but to each their own. Darlington definitely rocks for the history AND the racing so I'll give you that one. Martinsville was very cool, again ton of history, great people and facility...Richmond, NOT impressed with the racing at all. It was very ho hum the one event I worked, again everyone has something in their mind they prefer. Bristol to me is where it happens. LOVE that facility, love the racing, particularly when they made it RACING with grooves etc...now that's gone and we'll see next weekend...wow...really? hmmm

I'm not really sure why but maybe I was expecting more from it. I don't mean wrecking either. It was just boring. I got to see Kyle make history with his sweep. Even though I'm not a fan, that was the only redeeming part of the weekend there.

now had your guy BK won...we might be talking differently =) First time I went Kurt started his string of wins there...long ago...long...ago. I still like it none the less, the action is non stop and like you, not the wrecking part of it either, Guys moving up the track, diving into and out of the turns, just all of it.

Haha maybe. He's on a good run there lately. I would go though and he would probably stop running that well there!

If I were to ever go back, I would park somewhere else. That church lot was awful to leave.

Will be my fourth time going next weekend, but first time to the night race. Looking forward to it, have always enjoyed the races I've been too there.

You talking bout the one right beside the track? I always wonder how they get people back out of there. There is one just a bit down the road that is much better. If I park I always park there. They do not block you in at all and much nicer people.

Anyways yeah Ill be there all weekend. I only live 5 mins down the road and am off of work all week next week so Ill be there every day at some point.

OMG. Thats so funny you mentioned that. We were told to park there in 91', when there was prob half as many seats, and got stucks for hours after the race. You dont wanna park anywhere on the main street. Go over a block and park at someones house. Or any of the lots on the back road in. Shame that swayed you. Close parking is often the worst parking IMO. If anyones going for the first time, just keep that in mind. The neighborhood up the way from the track is very cool, and most home owners let you park on thier lawn. Hope everybodys ready for sum rubbin'! I'll be the gimpy dude in 18 gear in Earnhardt Terrace yelling my balls off! Cant wait!!
BTW: my old man got "Victory Lane" passes. All he told me is they are good half hour after the checkers. Guess we get to see the aftermath up close, I figure alot of people will still be around though, should be cool. Anyone ever heard of those??
