Step Up was a great movie! Well the city I go to watch movies is a little odd. There isn't a lot of people you would think would do it, but they do have a few gangs and some people that make you think twice

So long as media is allowed to tell us day after day after day about stuff like this it will never stop. People like this feed off of attention and they are getting what they want. People have a right to know what happened sure but we don't need to know what the psychopath ate for dinner his first night in the jail cell. They take things too far IMO. Tell me what happened and what your doing about it and leave it at that. And while we're at it, leave the people that just lost a loved one alone. The media is torturing these people by asking them to keep reliving it over and over. Once again just an opinion.

It's got nothing to do with the movie. These people are just idiots. This guy, Holmes, the AZ shooter, the recent shooting at that temple. These people just are idiots!

I think his point was more that the movie is not much different from the other two in the same series let alone how many other films that promote violence/glamorize it...and the media as SOME REPORTERS tend to do, have to be the first to make the story national attention, and some morons copycat to see if they can do it bigger and better..I'm honestly not sure we have an increase in crimes of this nature as much as we have greater national attention to it...to a point both awareness and provocation...just my thought.

Have you even seen the movie? How can it encourage violence? There are plenty of movies with much more violence.

I never said the movie caused any violence or people carrying guns to the movie. But to say there's no connection is ridiculous. People are bringing guns to this movie to attract attention since the first incident. The media is covering as they should. If they left out the name of the movie, what do you think the first question from readers would've been? "What was the movie he was trying to see?"

I saw the movie and LOVED IT! I've been wanting to see it again. I can't remember another movie still in theaters that I've said that about.

I never said the movie encouraged violence.
